Tax Free Part Deux
If you’re a resident of Georgia or one of the 14 other states that participate, you know all about the tax holiday that takes place during one weekend of the year (usually around back-to-school time). This is the weekend where consumers get their revenge at Uncle Sam for what he did to them back in April. Georgia has one of the more generous holidays: Clothes $100 or less, Computer equipment $1500 or less, and School supplies $20 or less. Check out what I came away with during last year’s tax holiday. With only a week to go until the next holiday (yes, I’m counting down the days) I thought it would be a good idea to start putting together a wish list. Here’s what I’ve got so far.
