Reasons why War of the Worlds SUCKS

NOTE:  Please do not read on if you intend to see War of the Worlds because I reveal some of the weak storyline.

Let me start by saying the beginning and ending of Steven Spielberg’s latest movie is quite good.  Of course I’m talking about the narration by Morgan Freeman and not the actual storyline.  A story about an alien race deciding it was time to use a planet that they had claimed millenniums before somehow got turned into a movie about one man’s quest to shut up his obnoxious 10 year old daughter.  Don’t get me wrong, the effects were spectacular.  But, just like a hot blonde model, this movie is pretty on the outside but has absolutely nothing past the surface.  I still don’t understand why Tom Cruise’s character had to go to Boston other than to shut his daughter up.  Did anyone else think that the little girl played by Dakota Fanning was annoying and took away from the movie?  She wasn’t cute, she was just plain obnoxious.  She repeatedly begs for answers to such thoughtful questions such as: “Is it still lightning? “, “What’s that stuff on you?” and my favorite, “Are we still alive?” Unfortunately, yes, you are still alive.  I am not even going to go into how the plot just magically seems to fall into place as if the aliens themselves wrote the screenplay. I made the comment upon leaving the theater that if I were Spielberg and saw the final cut of this film, I would burn every copy and never admit to having made it (like George Lucas did with the Star Wars Holiday Special).

Once people are made fully aware of the situation they are in, and have come out of denial to the fact that they do indeed have a problem with credit card debt the first option many people look into is debt consolidation.debt consolidation programs

Consistently check your tires. Be sure they’re in good shape, with plenty of tread, and keep them inflated to the manufacturer’s specifications. A strong, properly inflated tire is more able to handle curves, pot-holes, ditches and other road hazards that lead to rollovers.safest suvs
