Check out this video that AT&T Labs commissioned back in 1980 to teach the world about microprocessors. The video is narrated by William Shatner and gives a nostalgic look back on the birth of the micro-electronics industry.
Tax Free Part Deux
If you’re a resident of Georgia or one of the 14 other states that participate, you know all about the tax holiday that takes place during one weekend of the year (usually around back-to-school time). This is the weekend where consumers get their revenge at Uncle Sam for what he did to them back in April. Feel free to comment with your ideas:
Behold the Tyan Thunder K8QS
Check out what I saw @ Frys the other day. This $2000 motherboard supports up to four AMD Opteron 800 series processors, up to 20GB of DDR RAM, 4 SATA drives and 4 IDE devices. This thing is a powerhouse!!
Fire in the Disco!!!
Woooohooooo! Finally some much needed happiness comes my way. I’ve been so swamped with work lately that I haven’t had much time to myself. FEDEX dropped off cool tech gagdet #2 and #3 (Plextor 8x DVD burner and Maxtor 120gb SATA150 hard drive).
Also, a new commercial for the Lo-Pro, Sevendust, Staind show airs tomorrow. I thought I’d give you a sneak peak.
